**Your responsibilities**


+ Prepare financial statements and budgets

+ Preparation of Incurred Cost Submissions

+ Reviews and approves invoices according to contractual guidelines utilizing, compare actual costs and analyzes cost variances

+ Responsible for timely monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports

+ Analyzes costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses

+ Verifies and posts transactions to General Ledger.

+ Generates financial statements and bills.

+ Monitors receivable transactions to ensure a timely receipt date.

+ Cash flow forecasting and analysis

+ Monitors daily bank balances, reconciliations and initiates request for transfer of funds.

+ Reconciles financial balance sheet accounts to monitor and maintain costs.

+ Month-end and year-end close process.

+ Responsible for state and federal reporting issues that may arise.

+ Prepares and post journal entries, verifying information first within the general ledger module.

+ Review and approve company payrolls

+ Reviews and approves invoices according to contractual guidelines utilizing, compare actual costs and analyzes cost variances

+ Assist with tax audits and tax returns

+ Support audit requests, fact-finding, and negotiations

+ Interact with personnel and management at all levels; will interface and coordinate with other business management leaders and staff on a daily basis.

+ Leave Accruals, Travel Expense, Accounts payable, Billing, Monthly close outs, Fixed assets

+ Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

+ Other duties as assigned


**Education & Experience**


+ Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field

+ 8+ years of directly related experience in a government contracting environment

+ Must have SAP experience at a senior level

+ Knowledge of EVM commercial practices and their interdependency with commercial accounting is a plus

+ Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP

+ CPA preferred
