**About the Position:**Serve as the United States Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command's (USASMDC & ARSTRAT's) SHARP Program Manager.

### Responsibilities
* Manages the Sexual Harassment/ Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) Program for a serviced population typically less than 10,000 which includes Soldiers and family members as well as OCONUS Department of Army civilians and contractor personnel.
* Responsible for program management support, including strategic planning and operating policy development, coordination of action plans, providing assistance to Army units, and conducting analysis for the SHARP Program.
* Initiates and/or collates data sets from its field and: performs analyzes and makes and/or recommends improvements in data gathering and analysis related to sexual assault and sexual harassment; closely monitors data to identify trends.
* Analyzes data, establishes root cause of potential issues, and develops recommendations to prevent SH/SA.
* Participates in the conduct/communication of program effectiveness where the reports and evaluations have visibility which elicits strong interest among senior military and civilian leaders.
* Ensures all SHARP Reps have the communication tools and transportation needed to accomplish assigned tasks.
* Responsible for developing program objectives, policies, performance measures for program effectiveness, with the intent of reinforcing higher echelon Army/Corps/ACOM commitment to eliminate incidents of sexual harassment and assault.

* This position requires the employee to successfully complete an 80-hour 7 week Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Training (SHARP) Course and obtain Department of Defense (DOD) certification within 6-months of employment.
* This position requires screening against the Department of Justice National Sex Offenders Registry prior to a definite offer of employment.
* This position requires Army Substance Abuse Program checks.
* This is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) subject to pre-employment drug testing and random drug testing.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes extensive experience with the Sexual Harassment (SH) and Sexual Assault (SA) program within areas of strategic planning and operating policy development; conducting analysis of policy/program effectiveness; reporting on program statistics; and qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques to measure program effectiveness and identify trends in incidents. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-02).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
